Very interesting place. A lot of unique Bonsai trees. Some trees for sale and can be packed and even shipped. Owner very friendly and can provide you workshop and explain some Bonsai basics.
This place is amazing. The people so kind and helpful. They have a amazing collection of bonsai. My daughter loved seeing them all. I bought a bonsai for myself and had one shipped to my friend on the mainland. The shipping was super fast and they followed up with all the shipping information. To me this is a must stop if you are in Hilo.
The bonsai trees were not trimmed and obviously someone let them go......
SHADY. My husband and I barely found it and no one was there during their business hours. No signs to knock on the front door or anything. It looked abandoned so we walked around and looked at some of the trees but felt uncomfortable moseying through someone's yard.
Wow, what an incredible spot to learn about bonsai, and even take one home to try your hand at the art yourself. Run by a true bonsai master who is very friendly and a good teacher too!
